Mel’s Self Care Tips:

  • Increase water intake daily to reach water goal of half your body weight

  • Wake up 1 to 3 hours early to give time to your self; or give your self time in the evening by putting kids to bed or work down, 1 to 3 hours sooner

  • Stretch through movement in the morning before beginning the day for 15 to 20 minutes, total body 1-3 times a week

  • Experiencing muscular aches, spasms, tightening, cramping, locking and restricted movements. Use HEAT COMPRESSIONS with pressure 15-20 minutes at a time

  • Hot to Cold showers along with epsom salt baths are both, healthy exchangeable regimens

  • Experiencing sharp, shooting, inner-joint pain or pressure, tingling, numbness, shrining pain, headaches. Use ICE COMPRESSIONS 10-15 minutes at a time

  • Stretch at the end of your day, holding each posing stretch 12-15 seconds or for 3 deep controlled breathes. This can also be done in the shower or bath tub
